FAQ for Attendees
Is this event open to the public?
This event is by invitation only. But it's easy to get an invite. In fact, if you've found this website, you're automatically invited. Just click on the registration page, fill out the form, and mail it in with your check.
Oops, I missed the September 1st cut-off date. Now what?
Not to worry, registration will be extended through September 4th. Email all your info (see registration page) to info@pnweggfest.com and we'll let you know how to send payment. Sorry- all attendees must be pre-registered prior to the event by September 4th (no walk-ins) and T-shirts are unavailable for late registrants.
Speaking of t-shirts, I'd like to get a couple extra besides the free one I get with my registration. How do I order extras?
Just email us with how many you want and what size. If you want a t-shirt for your child, be sure to specify 'child' when telling us the size. We'll let you know the cost and you can send a check in with your registration.
How do I find you once I get to Lake Sammamish State Park?
It's really easy. We're going to be in a reserved area called the Kitchen Shelter. After you drive through the entrance and guard booth area, the Kitchen Shelter is the second driveway on the right. Just look for our Big Green Egg sandwich sign at the turn-in.
What's the parking situation at Lake Sammamish?
We have a pretty big parking lot reserved just for us right next to our reserved spot at Lake Sammamish. In case that fills up, there's other parking very close by. In addition, if you're staying at the Holiday Inn in Issaquah, they'll be running a shuttle between the hotel and Lake Sammamish State Park.
Can I bring my kids?
Sure! Kids are very welcome as long as they have parent or adult supervision.
Are there any activities for kids at Lake Sammamish?
There's a playground and there's always swimming in the lake. However, these activities are not close enough to our reserved site for children to go to on their own. They are within close walking distance, but you should plan for an adult to accompany children to these activities.
I know you've mentioned you're providing water and soft drinks. What about alcoholic drinks?
We won't be providing any alcoholic drinks, but you're welcome to bring your own if you're 21 or older. Just remember to drink responsibly and not to drink and drive. We've already told Paris Hilton and Lindsay Lohan that they're not welcome at our event!
What's a "Demo Egg" and how do I get one?
A demo Egg is an Egg that you pre-buy prior to the Eggfest. The Egg will be cooked on the day of the Eggfest by one of our registered cooks, and then you'll pick it up at the end of the day (5pm). This is a great way to get your first Egg or to add to your Egg family, as these Eggs are sold at a fantastic discount. To find out more about ordering a demo Egg, click here.
You won't believe this, but I've still got more questions!
Just email us at info@pnweggfest.com and hopefully we'll have answers!
